Eaglewood Golf Academy 2026 Junior Golf Calendar Now Open For Registration

Eaglewood Golf Academy, located near the beautiful Eaglewood Golf Course in Utah, is now enrolling for its Winter (January–February) and Spring (March–April) junior programs. With a limit of 8 golfers per session to maintain a 4:1 student-to-coach ratio, these high-energy classes combine skill development, fun competitions, and performance training. During the winter, sessions primarily take place in the Indoor Training Center, while spring classes incorporate on-course application as the weather warms, making it an excellent choice for young golfers looking to improve their game at the Salt Lake Golf Academy.

At Eaglewood Golf Academy, located near the beautiful Eaglewood Golf Course in Utah, our mission is to create personal experiences that foster a lifelong love for the game of golf. We are dedicated to developing not only champions in sport but also champions through sport, emphasizing personal growth, integrity, and a passion for the game. By providing quality golf instruction and coaching in a positive and enjoyable environment, we aim to support all golfers in becoming more aware of their potential and to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and skill development. What does it mean to be powered by First Tee?

Eaglewood Golf Academy is proud to support First Tee Utah through our junior programs, offered as “Powered by First Tee Utah.” This partnership connects our academy’s culture of learning and development with the nationally recognized youth development framework of First Tee—a program that uses golf as a vehicle to teach life skills, character, and core values such as integrity, respect, and perseverance. Located at the scenic Eaglewood Golf Course, we provide a unique environment for young golfers to thrive. By integrating First Tee’s proven curriculum into our instruction, we ensure that every junior golfer not only develops strong technical and athletic foundations but also learns the personal and social skills that prepare them for success on and off the golf course. Being “Powered by First Tee Utah” means our juniors are part of something larger than a local program—they’re connected to a nationwide network dedicated to helping kids grow in confidence, build resilience, and find joy in the lifelong game of golf, all within the beautiful backdrop of Eaglewood Golf Course.

With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, he combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of the mental game, helping golfers develop both skill and confidence. As a dedicated family man, Allen is committed to guiding players of all levels—whether they are just starting out or are seasoned golfers—at the Salt Lake Golf Academy to improve while learning valuable life lessons through golf. Brent Moyes has been a golf enthusiast and student of the game since the age of 10 and has worked as a Golf Professional for over 30 years. With a passion for both coaching and playing golf, including at the Eaglewood Golf Course in Utah, and baseball, he has had the privilege of learning from some of the very best in both sports. He now enjoys sharing that knowledge with others, helping them develop their skills and appreciation for the game, particularly through programs at the Salt Lake Golf Academy. Weekly Saturday Mini-Clinics

New Format for 2025

BI-Monthly Registration Options


To enhance flexibility and inclusivity in our Spring and Summer programs at the Eaglewood Golf Course, we are introducing monthly registration options for our Operation 36 classes. We hope that this change accommodates busy summer schedules, allowing more participants to join at their convenience throughout the season.


Monthly Play Passes


This is what it's all about. Each month your golfer will receive two play passes so that you can bring them out to the Eaglewood Golf Course on your schedule, use the app to help them progress, and reach their goals together.


Smaller Classes


It's our goal to keep our class sizes small at the Salt Lake Golf Academy to ensure that the golfers have the best possible experience.


Longer Classes


Our Op36 sessions will be 90-minute class times to ensure each golfer has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Being powered by First Tee – Utah signifies our commitment to delivering a youth development program that seamlessly integrates golf instruction with life skills education. Our coaches undergo specialized training in positive youth development, ensuring they create a supportive environment where participants feel comfortable and engaged. This affiliation provides our participants with access to a range of local and national opportunities, including leadership academies and national championships, designed to promote personal growth and community engagement. Through this partnership, we empower youth to build character, develop resilience, and pursue excellence both on and off the course.
